 We produce sodium chlorate at two production sites in Finland, Äetsä and Joutseno, utilizing the Company's own electrolysis cell technology. Manufacturing technology is based on the patented FC-cell, an extremely reliable electrolyzer combining high availability with low electricity consumption. Sodium chlorate is delivered in crystalline form or as a solution, as required by the customer. The Company has also developed a wide variety of logistic services, which ensure reliable on-time deliveries.
Chlorine dioxide we produce at the Kuusankoski plant, from where the product is delivered by pipeline to the adjacent pulp mill on a JIT (Just In Time) basis.
We are also Finland's largest importer of caustic soda, having more than 70 years' experience of cooperation with industries using caustic soda.
BORINO® is utilised in the on-site generation of sodium dithionite used in the bleaching of mechanical pulp. The latest result of our own product development is BORDITITM - a ready-made dithionite solution, which serves smaller users, in particular, and improves safety in mechanical bleaching.
